The Broker — The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after using both.
FIX API is there for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently in the works. That would make the platform set once it is live.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not for typical accounts. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
This is the area where this broker stands apart. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers operate at hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That says something about priorities.
Pair that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering is strong. Not many platforms in this bracket offer execution like this.
Safety
Here is the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. This does not guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.
What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You fund your account, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before funding.
